Design and build Services
Consultation
We take the time to understand your business, your space, and what you’re really looking to achieve. It's how we make sure the brief we build together is truly yours.
Site Survey
We are always welcome a visit your site and to meet our clients in person. At a site visit we will take measurements of the space, photographs, and check internal floor, wall and ceiling construction. We will also check the condition and review all the services (plumbing, drainage, electrical, air-conditioning etc).
Design
This is where the project finds its personality. Through mood boards, materials and carefully chosen details, we will develop a scheme which is creative, individual and practical. we will look at the best options for the space in terms of layout. We will plan the space to suit your brief, and offer a number of options.
Detailing and Specification
We produce a comprehensive drawing package which can include detailed specifications. Building regulations and planning permission if required. These enable both the client and construction team to understand the works to be carried out.
Procurement
Beyond sourcing furniture and lighting from our wide network, our core expertise lies in bespoke furniture manufacturing. We manage the entire process from technical drawings to final installation, delivering exceptional craftsmanship.
Project Delivery
As a design and build company we coordinate our suppliers and contractors to keep things on track and make sure the finished space lives up to the vision.
Working with Monnow Interiors
Can you manage the entire project?
Yes. Our involvement can be tailored to the level of support you need.
Some clients appoint us to develop the creative direction and prepare a detailed design package for their contractors. Others ask us to remain involved throughout the project, supporting procurement, coordinating suppliers and helping oversee delivery.
We will agree the most appropriate approach with you at the outset.
Can you work with our existing contractors and consultants?
Yes. We are happy to collaborate with your existing project team.
We can work alongside contractors, architects, consultants and specialist suppliers, providing the drawings, specifications and design guidance needed to keep the interior cohesive.
Where additional expertise is required, we can also introduce trusted specialists from our own network.
Which commercial sectors do you work with?
Our experience includes hospitality, retail, workplace, exhibition and other customer-facing environments.
Every sector brings its own practical considerations. A hotel or restaurant needs to balance atmosphere with durability. A retail space needs to support the customer journey and communicate the brand clearly. A workplace needs to function effectively for the people using it every day.
We use our cross-sector experience to bring a fresh but practical perspective to each project.
Can you help us develop the brief?
You do not need to arrive with every decision already made.
We can help you clarify the priorities for the space, explore what is achievable and identify the details that will make the biggest difference.
The earlier we are involved, the more opportunity we have to shape a cohesive design and anticipate practical considerations before work begins.
How do you approach budgets and timescales?
We discuss budget and timescale at the beginning of the project so that the design can be developed realistically.
Clear decisions at an early stage help avoid unnecessary changes later. Where we are supporting the delivery of the project, we will help coordinate the relevant suppliers and trades and respond to issues as they arise.
When should we get in touch?
As early as possible.
Whether you are considering a refurbishment, reviewing a potential property or preparing a new space for opening, an initial conversation can help establish the best way forward.
